In this class you will get to search the store for a fun "junky" piece of furniture. Once you find it, you will bring it into the Upcycle Center where we will help you make it "funky"! You will learn how to use our Dixie Belle Chalk Paint, different painting/distressing/waxing or glazing techniques, depending on the piece you choose and the look you are going for. Once the piece is finished, we will place it in our Upcycled Section of the store for sale.
You get to learn how to paint with chalk paint and practice your skills while helping Habitat raise more money so we can build more houses for those in need! A great way to have fun, learn, and give back to your community!
